Cubs
are for young people aged 8-11 who want
the chance to try new and exciting things
through games, crafts, nature study and
outdoor activities. |
There are so many things a Cub Scout can do.
You get the opportunity to try lots of
different activities and if you do them really
well you will be awarded with a badge. Badges
are worn on your uniform and along with the
traditional camping and outdoor badges we can
cover science, arts, crafts and hobbies.
|
Also,
there are badges that the Cubs need to show
real skills or knowledge of a subject. These
cover animal care, chef, emergency aid,
faith, home help, global conservation, home
safety and personal safety.
We
also give the Cubs recognition for activities
they participate in outside Scouting and they
will be awarded with badges for swimming,
music, computing, martial arts, horse riding. |
